A capacity tour group of 45 were thrilled by the Durbach Block designed Holman house in the Residential Tour last Saturday 18 June.

Particularly as the previous night the RAIA had given the architects the prestigious Wilkinson Award for this amazing project.

The quality of all the projects was excellent, from an extraordinary apartment development by Philip Thalis and Peter John Cantrill on the top of 126 York Street, through to James Fitzpatrick’s piece of wizadry with a tiny house that is the width of a garage.

One participant said ‘fantastic choice of houses’ and another ‘Great variety, privilege to get into these homes’ and another ‘inspiring’.
